Built to just work

Everything yt-dlp can do, without touching a terminal.

  • 1,800+ sites

YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter/X, Reddit, Facebook, Vimeo, SoundCloud, and nearly everywhere else yt-dlp reaches.

  • Always current

Checks for yt-dlp updates on launch and upgrades in one click, so new sites and formats keep working.

  • Cookie authentication

Attach a cookies.txt to pull age-restricted, member-only, or private content using your own logged-in session.

  • 10 languages

English, Türkçe, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português, العربية, 日本語, 한국어, and 中文 — built in, not bolted on.

  • Light, dark, or system

Matches your OS automatically, or set it yourself — see it for yourself just above.

  • Live progress

Real percentage, transfer speed, and status for every download, updating as it happens.

  • Smart queue

Up to 3 downloads run at once; the rest wait their turn automatically.

  • History that sticks

Your download list survives restarts — nothing disappears when you close the app.

  • File operations built in

Rename, reveal in Finder or Explorer, or delete finished downloads without leaving the app.

A closer look

Every screen is built from the same flat, hairline-bordered system — nothing borrowed, nothing generic.

macOS says the app is “damaged”? It isn't — KeepMeTube isn't notarized by Apple yet, so Gatekeeper flags any download from outside the App Store by default.

Right-click the app and choose Open, or run this once in Terminal:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/KeepMeTube.app"
